Project
A defined outcome with a start and an end: a migration, a platform build, an AI system taken to production.
Company
VLC_logic is an independent engineering company. We work with a small number of clients at a time, as an extension of their platform and infrastructure teams.
We are engineers who have spent our careers on the operational side of software: the cloud accounts, pipelines, clusters, dashboards and on-call rotations that decide whether a product stays online.
That focus shapes how we work. We take on few engagements, keep the team senior, and measure the work in uptime, deployment frequency and incidents that never happen. There is no layer of account managers between you and the people making the technical decisions.
Our clients are companies with a platform to run and no appetite for surprises: teams preparing for growth, migrating to the cloud, introducing AI into a regulated environment, or recovering from an outage they do not want to repeat.
We work remotely and keep overlapping hours with your team. Every engagement ends with documentation, runbooks and code your engineers can own — whether or not you continue with us.
Principles
Five rules that shape every engagement, whether it lasts two weeks or two years.
If it is not monitored, documented and recoverable, it is not finished.
Every manual step is a future incident. We remove them instead of documenting them.
Least privilege, encrypted transport, managed secrets and auditable changes, from the first commit.
We measure before and after: cost, deployment frequency, recovery time, incident count.
Code, documentation and runbooks are yours. We build so that handover is possible from day one.
Engagements
Most relationships start with a short assessment and grow from there.
A defined outcome with a start and an end: a migration, a platform build, an AI system taken to production.
Ongoing ownership of infrastructure and delivery, with a monthly operations and improvement cycle.
A senior engineer working inside your team, on your rituals, for as long as the team needs the extra capacity.
A short, fixed-scope review of your infrastructure, delivery or AI stack, ending in a written report and roadmap.
Next step
A short message about your environment and the problem is enough. A senior engineer replies within one business day.
